What happens when a printmaking major / calligrapher / stationery designer gets married? She has way too much fun with the paper products! Although I'm still over here chipping away at a few last minute designs for our big day which is OMG ONE MONTH FROM TODAY, I wanted to share some pictures of our invitation suite. My goal was to keep the design pretty crisp and classic, but fun. And I wanted our save-the-date to coordinate so I started this vision months ago! I used paper from Crane, Paper Presentation, and Paper Source and I incorporated a lot of black & white with unexpected pops of ivory, blush, and pink with an accent of shimmery gold. I also wanted stripes and confetti (why not?!) and letterpress everything because, let's be real, it's the best.
There is no Caroline Smith or Kale Lane, but I wanted to show you an envelope sample :) I made custom ink by mixing gouache which might be my new favorite thing to do!

^^^ blind letterpress (no ink!) with a little bit of varnish to make the text sliiiiightly darker so it pops.
I also made sure to design some corresponding notecards that P & I can mail out to love ones during this time. It makes sitting down to write a little letter that much more fun.
Thanks for having a look!
